Kruger Racing to Offer Mobile Betting in SABy Renata du Toit
August 23, 2022 -- Updated 1145 GMT South African land-based bookmaker, Kruger Racing, will now be able to offer online and mobile betting, following a partnership deal with online gaming software developer, BetTech. As part of the agreement, Kruger Racing will re-launch its online sportsbook and launch its first mobile sportsbook. The product will offer pre-match and live data feeds and a wide range of sporting events and betting options. BetTech Offers Top OptionsThe Kruger Racing deal with BetTech was a natural choice, according to Craig Swan, General Manager at Durban-based Kruger Racing. Referring to the gaming provider as the "standout choice of partner," Swan stated that the integration was simple and that the company was pleased with the outcome. "BetTech's product allows KrugerBets.com to offer fantastic prices on all major horse and sporting events around the world, not to mention the vast array of in-running bets available on various sporting fixtures." BetTech offers full pools and fixed-odds wagering on both local and European racing fixtures. It also offers in-play betting. According to Swan, the company does not offer online casino games, such as blackjack, poker and roulette, which are against South African law, ensuring that KrugerBets is "fully compliant with the regulations." "Services to our customers is of paramount importance and we strive to allow them to make transactions using our online site, seamlessly and effortlessly through a combination of our helpful staff as well as BetTech's user-friendly web and mobile platform." BetTech's solution is optimized for mobile browser access and BetTech allows the opportunity to develop native apps. KrugerBets.com will launch their first mobile platform through this agreement. "With BetTech's mobile product, we offer a mobile Web experience that allows access to KrugerBets.com to millions of feature phone users, rather than solely going for the much smaller smartphone market. This way, we cater for thousands of devices," noted Swan. KrugerBets Satisfies Booming MarketAccording to studies released by the government, the South African gambling market is thriving. Domestic betting revenue in South Africa is expected to increase from ZAR17.7 billion in 2012 to ZAR24.2 billion by 2022. "We are witnessing first-hand how the online sports betting market is booming in South Africa," commented Anli Kotzé, General Manager at Cape Town-based BetTech Gaming. "The growth has fuelled player expectations and KrugerBets.com is now in a better position to satisfy the demand, and complement its online offering, particularly when it comes to mobile and in-play." comments powered by Disqus |
