South African LottoPlus Info
Lotto Plus is an extension product to the Lotto game in South Africa and was added in 2003. The draw takes place at the same time as the main draw on Wednesday and Saturdays.
Players are in essence given a second chance selection for an additional cost which allows them to play for a second prize pool. Unlike the main Lotto product, this prize is not rolled over if not won, but it is divided among the winners in each winning division.
One can only play Lotto Plus if you have purchased a ticket for the main Lotto draw.
The cost of the Lotto plus ticket is R3,50.
