Gaming software development company, BetTech Gaming has signed a deal with Microgaming that will allow them to offer Quickfire games in the African gaming market.
Quickfire casino content will initially be offered through iplay8casino.com, the online casino brand of Dunia, Tanzania’s online casino operator which initially went live with Quickfire casino games in October 2013.
iPlay8Casino to Expand Offering
iPlay8casino.com is the first brand to take advantage of the BetTech-Microgaming deal for Africa online casinos. With Quickfire games already part of its game suite, iplay8casino.com players will have access to popular titles such as Thunderstruck II, Immortal Romance and the new branded slots game, The Dark Knight Rises.
They will now also be featuring BetTech’s sports betting platform in order to supplement their online offering, allowing them to offer online and mobile sports betting to their customers for the first time. The BetTech Gaming sports betting platform offers a range of user-friendly features such as ante-post and in-running wagers which are available across a wide range of sports and horse racing options.
”Our players have responded extremely positively to Quickfire’s games on iplay8casino,” stated Costa Giannakopoulos, Director at Dunia. “The introduction of BetTech’s sports betting product takes our offering to another level. It’s an exciting time for us all.”
iPlay8casino players will now have access to a range of both casino games from Quickfire and a sports betting offering from BetTech providing them with a complete gaming experience.
Mark Bosman, Co-founder and International CEO of BetTech expressed his company’s satisfaction with the deal saying, “The addition of Quickfire games significantly widens and strengthens the quality of the BetTech product offering. Entering this joint venture with Quickfire is another sign of our ambition to partner with the best and we are very pleased to kick it off by launching with iplay8casino.”
BetTech Expanding in Africa
The online sports betting market is booming in Africa and BetTech is taking advantage of this trend. This launch comes a few months after they launched their sports product with Krugerbets.com in August and their obtaining the National Manufacturers License in South Africa in October.
”BetTech Gaming is a very professional and dynamic company with its finger firmly on the pulse of the emerging African market,” commented Ashley Sandyford-Sykes, Head of Quickfire. “Partnering with them will bring opportunities to both our companies. We believe our work with iplay8casino will be the first of many successful projects we work on together.”
