Roger Raatgever, Chief Executive Officer of Microgaming, expressed his pride at having received a renewal of the Microgaming eCOGRA certification. “The eCOGRA certification is synonymous with the highest possible level of professional conduct in the online gaming industry. We are proud to receive a renewed Certified Software Seal as it reflects how seriously we take player protection and responsible gaming.”
eCOGRA Sets Rigorous Certification Process
In order to have their certification renewed, Microgaming was required to undergo rigorous testing and inspections. EGBA standards and eGAP requirements were used to measure the performance of the Isle of Man-based software provider.
”eCOGRA certification can only be achieved following a rigorous on-site inspection, which encompasses all aspects of the company’s software development activities, followed by sustained monitoring and annual reviews,” explained Andrew Beveridge, Chief Executive Officer at eCOGRA.
Microgaming’s commitment to responsible and fair gaming is well-known throughout the industry, and the Certified Software Seal is further evidence of the company’s achievement of the highest levels of player protection and fair gaming.”
Microgaming online casinos around the world, including in Africa, Australia, Europe and many other places, will benefit from the renewal of the eCOGRA seal of approval. The company powers more than 160 sites. It offers more than 1,000 game variants and over 600 unique game titles. The software is available in online and mobile platforms and supports play in 24 languages.
